Two weeks ago when the temperature dropped down to 5 degrees, Peter and I did not want to take Jake on a walk so we let him run a muck. A couple hours later he came back home with blood all over his nose. We cleaned him up an saw that a chunk of his nose was torn off. We think that he must have been smelling something metal and got his nose stuck to it because of the freezing cold. Poor puppy dog had to rip his nose away by him self. Ouch! His nose used to be all black now he has a permanent pink spot. We call him Rudolph the red nose puppy dog.
