Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to Peter and Me!

Today May 3rd 2009 is our 2 year wedding anniversary. After spending 2 wonderful years together we are more in love and chubby. I have a hard time trying to remember what it was like to be without Peter. He is my Rock, my best friend, my sweetheart, my help met, my tender kisses and hugs, and my all. I am one lucky woman.

Anniversary Adventure

Bless my poor sweetheart, he knows that I love surprises and he tries his darnedest to create them for me. But it seem that they always get spoiled by something or someone. For this anniversary he wanted to surprise me with a fabulous weekend trip to Vegas. He had it all planned out and was ready to make reservations at a hotel, when he remembered that he had mandatory work meeting in Richfield that weekend. All of his hard work dashed into pieces. So he told me about all of the scheming he had done and that it was for nothing. We decided to make lemonade of lemons and make a over night trip to Richfield.

Friday we drove up to good old Richfield. If you have ever been to Richfield Utah you would know that its not the most exciting place, but we made due with what we had. We found a deal on a clean hotel that had a hot tube. That night we ate at an out dated Italian Restaurant. the food was good but the romantic Italian mood just wasn't there. After dinner we went to the only move theater in town, it was built in the 1950's and nothing had been updated. It was pretty awesome I felt like we were transported to a different era.

The next day after Peter was done with his meeting we hit the open road to roam around central Utah. First stop Fish Lake. It was a beautiful pristine lake, the only problem is that it was still winter at that altitude. The lake still had ice on top of it. Here are some pic of it.

Since it was cold we didn't stay long. On to our next Adventure.......... Capitol Reef!

Peter and I had never been to this National Park. It was the most perfect day to go, the weather was nice and there were no crowds. It has the same beauty as Moab. Hope you enjoy these pics

After Exploring Capitol Reef we had dinner in a cute little town Called Torry. At a fun little crazy dinner.

Whats funny is the couple behind us are in our ward hear in Cedar.
This was a great little adventure and a great way to celebrate our anniversary.
